The following dental services are some covered benefits offered to Healthy Michigan Plan members:
Diagnostic - dental exams, radiographs
Preventative - every six-month dental cleanings
Restorative - fillings, extractions, some partials, and dentures
Pregnant Women Dental
Pregnant Women Dental is an enhanced dental benefit for pregnant women enrolled in Medicaid. Pregnant Women Dental uses the Healthy Michigan Plan dental benefits and network. PWD provides dental benefits for women for the duration of their pregnancy, as well as twelve (12) months following the birth date.
Transportation
Transportation is available to assist you getting to and from your scheduled dental visits. To schedule a ride, use gas reimbursement or get a bus pass, call the Reservation Line at 800-826-2862 ext. 3608.

It is important to schedule your dental cleanings every six months. These visits can contribute to your overall health. Regular dental exams can:
Help you maintain your oral health
Find problems with your teeth and gums before causing you pain
Identify warning signs of other health conditions unrelated to your teeth
Provide a place to go if you do have a dental emergency
Make a habit to schedule your dental cleanings twice a year. If you are unable to keep your appointment please notify your dental office prior to your appointment to reschedule.
